Architectural Control Form
The Architectural Review Form is required anytime a homeowner wants to make exterior changes—like adding a shed, pool, or fence. It gives the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) details about your project so they can ensure it follows neighborhood covenants and maintains the community’s look and value. Submitting clear plans and materials helps the ACC provide faster approval or feedback before work begins.
Covenant Documents
The original Braun Station East Covenants and Restrictions (CC & R) were written over 45 years ago and need updating. Some areas are no longer needed, some need to be clarified, and some new areas need to be established. The Covenant Review Committee is posting the draft of the updated CC&R for review. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Board as we will have a vote on the revised document before year end.
Covenant – Braun Station East
At Braun Station East, the word covenant goes beyond a simple set of rules—it represents the foundation of our neighborhood and the shared values that have helped our community thrive since the 1970s. Located in northwest Bexar County between Loop 1604 and Bandera Road, Braun Station East is a subdivision of 626 unique homes guided by the Braun Station East Community Improvement Association, Inc., a Texas nonprofit corporation.
The community covenant, formally known as the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions, establishes how the neighborhood is maintained and protected. Membership in the Association is automatic for every property owner, and with that comes both rights and responsibilities. By joining, residents agree to uphold the bylaws and work together to preserve the quality, safety, and value of the subdivision.
Covenants cover everything from the upkeep of homes and use of common areas to financial obligations such as annual assessments. These assessments support amenities like the clubhouse, swimming pool, and community events that make Braun Station East a desirable place to live. Homeowners also have voting rights on important issues, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Ultimately, the covenant is about balance—protecting property values while fostering a welcoming environment where residents can connect, volunteer, and feel proud to call Braun Station East home.
